Born and raised in Piedmont, Francesco Bagnaia moved to Pesaro when the became a part of Valentino Rossi’s VR46 Riders Academy. But his football team has always been Juventus, and today he was invited to a join a training day with the players, followed by the classic photo and autograph session. But that’s not all.

The ‘duel’ with Quartararo

Pecco also joined Paulo Dybala on a video call to his number one rival on track, Fabio Quartararo, who is a good friend of the footballer. The Argentinian called Fabio, before revealing that he was with the Ducati rider, telling him: “I’m just calling you quick because I’m here on the pitch today and a big Juventus fan has come to see us, he just wants to meet all the Juventus guys, not like you who went to visit other clubs, and we just wanted to say hi”. Dybala jokingly refers to the MotoGP champion’s recent visit to Paris, where he kicked off the Paris Saint Germain – Nice game, and also to the fact that the Frenchman has been in contact with players from other clubs, such as Barcelona, while Bagnaia remains loyal to ‘his’ Juventus.
