Valentino Rossi is currently competing in the Gulf 12 Hours together with brother Luca Marini and friend Alessio Salucci. Also there with the trio is Vale’s girlfriend, Francesca Sofia Novello, who has spent time at the Bahrain track with her other half.

And while the images from the first day of free practice, in which Rossi and his crew finished fourth aboard the team Kessel Ferrari 488 GT3, have made an impact on social media, one in particular has stood out.
The image, posted by Francesca Sofia Novello, shows the couple inside the garage being affectionate with each other. The shot has gone viral for the comment that Valentino then made, as while Novello had written “Always” alongside the photo, Rossi replied more ironically.
“You’re touching my ass Love” - writes the Doctor, only for Francesca to comment: “You’re an idiot!” - complete with smiley face. The Doctor loves to joke. Even on a race weekend.
