Another update relating to World Supersport. Having already hired Harry Truelove, the Dynavolt team has now signed Niki Tuuli, a talented rider whose name is well-known in the paddock. The Finnish rider leaves the MV Agusta F3 800 RR and prepares to ride the Triumph Street Triple RS which, as its name suggests, also has a three-cylinder engine.

Tuuli to pair with Truelove: but will it be true love with Dynavolt?

A play on words, yes, but it’s a serious question. Niki is a sure thing, in the sense that he’s a racer who has proved competitive in every championship he's entered. He’s won races in Supersport and MotoE, and could have done the same in Moto2, had he been given more of a chance.

The other rider set to join the Dynavolt team is, as we’ve said, Truelove. Harry comes from the UK and is keen to stand out on the world stage. But while Tuuli is "used” to the particular delivery of a three-cylinder, his future team-mate will need to adapt, having raced with a four-cylinder Yamaha R6 in the national championship.
