2023 FIM Awards: Motosprint is once again event media partner

Except for a few final details, everything’s almost ready at the ACC Liverpool Convention Center, the stage for the 2023 FIM Awards. 53 world champions will be recognised on the evening of 2 December and we’ll be there too, as Motosprint is a media partner of the event. The tux, bow tie and dress shoes are ready, as are the microphone and video equipment.

The city dissected by the Mersey River is known around the world for its sporting and musical prowess. The football derby between Liverpool and Everton even sparks the interest of those who don’t follow the Premier League, while we’ve all listened to a song by the Beatles at least once in our lives, right?

C'mon, sure you have. Perhaps you’ve sung in the shower or while driving your car. When riding? Perhaps, but we once asked James Toseland what music would be in his head while riding, and he said: "Classical music, mate". Ok.

And the two-time WorldSBK champion, a high-level performer and former leader of band Crash, will be among the presenters walking the Red Carpet in Liverpool.

From MotoGP to Speedway: 53 champs take to the stage

Listen to "I Want to Hold Your Hand" by the Fab Four and you’ll get a sense of the event – elegance, yes, but also a spirit of union, familiarization, and fun. This is the feeling at the FIM Awards, which are preceded by the Ride to FIM Awards, with participation in the British MXGP and the Motorcycle Live show in Birmingham.

World champions left and right, regardless of the type of tyre. So, everything from Speedway to MotoGP, from MX to Enduro, from Trials to the Ohvale MiniGP World Series. Both men and women will be recognised, in a profession that is of course open to both sexes.
