The World Supersport team of reference and rider Steven Odendaal will take part in this weekend’s ESBK event being staged at what is a new addition to this year’s WorldSBK calendar
It’s set to be a busy race weekend, with MotoGP at Le Mans, the Italian CIV championship at Misano, and also the second round of the ESBK, the Spanish series run by the RFME (Real Federacion Motociclista Espanola), taking place at the Navarra circuit.
While the Superbike class will be missing some of its best-known faces, due to the fact it clashes with MotoE, where Eric Granado, Andre Pires, Alessandro Zaccone and current championship leader Jordi Torres will be battling it out, one of the main attractions in Supersport will be the presence of Steven Odendaal and team Evan Bros.
With Navarra now featuring on the WorldSBK calendar, many of the Superbike and Supersport have already had chance to carry out testing at the spectacular Spanish track, but team boss Fabio Evangelista has decided that current champions Evan Bros might benefit from some competitive training, hence the team’s participation in the upcoming races of this high-level national series.
