MX tragedy: a young rider dies in front of his parents

Tragedy strikes the MX world. 20-year old rider Brayden Erbacher lost his life during the opening round of the Australian ProMX Championship in Victoria last weekend.

According to local media sources, Erbacher fell off his bike and suffered serious head trauma. Despite the rapid response of medical staff at the circuit, the rider passed away at the track, his injuries too serious, also considering that Brayden would have been hit by the other bikes. His parents were present at the track and witnessed the terrible scene.

Motorcycling Australia cancelled the event “with immediate effect” and sent home the many spectators who had come to watch the races.

Brayden’s brother, Damon Erbacher, remembers him with these words: “You were the best big brother and I looked up to you every single day. You guided me through life to this point and for that I’ll always be grateful”.
