Bagnaia reveals: “Marquez and Valentino? I never had anything to do with their rivalry”

Pecco: “I always tried to help Marc, and he did the same for me”

Following Marquez’s words came Bagnaia's response, praising his garage partner and highlighting that there was never any friction between them:

“Because of what happened in Marc’s career, and me being a rider from Valentino’s Academy, many people thought there could be tension between him and me in the box. However, I have always said that I was never involved in their rivalry, and when he arrived at the official Ducati team, I was completely open and ready to get to know him. We’ve always had a great relationship; I always tried to help him when he needed it—even though there were very few times he actually needed help—and he did the same for me. He is a smart rider, and we managed to work well together.”
