MotoGP, the date for the 2024 Yamaha team presentation is confirmed

As is tradition, the Sepang circuit will again host the first of the MotoGP pre-season tests and Yamaha has decided to present its official 2024 team in the same location. The track action will play out on 6-8 february, while 24 hours beforehand, on Monday 5, the Iwata based manufacturer will unveil the M1 with which Fabio Quartararo and Alex Rins will compete this season.

This will be an important year for Yamaha, as it strives to return to winning ways and, considering the work done, must convince Quartararo to stay, considering that the Frenchman’s contract is up at the end of the year. Rins is a new entry, having switched from the LCR team to the factory Yamaha team with the aim of being a consistent frontrunner. Will this be the year? Both riders very much hope so. The Frenchman, world champion with Yamaha in 2021, is hungry to fight for another title given his incredible talent, while the Spaniard, having gifted Honda a win at Austin last year, is keen to prove himself.
