MotoGP, official: Marc Marquez with Team Gresini in 2024

The news had been in the air for a while but has finally been made official this morning - Marc Marquez will race with the Gresini Racing team’s Ducati Desmosedici in 2024, joining brother Alex in the garage.

After more than a decade with the factory Honda team, this move marks a dramatic change for the Spaniard, who seeks the kind of competitiveness that will once again allow him to fight for victory every weekend.

Marquez: “Sometimes you have to get out of your comfort zone”

“I’m excited about this new challenge. It wasn’t an easy decision because it’s a big change in every way. But sometimes in life, it’s important to get out of your comfort zone and put yourself through the paces in order to keep growing. Bike-chance-wise, I know I will have to adapt my riding style to a few things, and it won’t be easy. But I’m also sure that the whole Team Gresini will help me a lot.
