Bagnaia: “Argentina will turn our MotoGP season around”

Just one point scored in two races, but there’s nothing to say that Pecco Bagnaia’s title fight is already over. In fact, the number 63 rider is seeking a turnaround at Termas de Rio Hondo, which he views as an ideal opportunity to finally demonstrate his full potential and that of his Desmosedici GP22.

In the Ducati Lenovo Team’s press release, the Italian comments: "Already after the Qatar race and especially after the last GP in Indonesia, my feeling with the Desmosedici GP has returned to what it was last year”.

Or rather, a winning confidence that was lacking during previous rounds: “Unfortunately, both in Lusail and Mandalika, we couldn't show our real potential, so I hope to do it here in Argentina finally. Termas is a track I like, and I am determined to turn our season around this weekend finally”.

Argentina has seen Miller in pole position. In 2018

The (soon to be married) Australian points this out in the same Ducati Lenovo Team release: "In the last GP held here in 2019, I had managed to get a good fourth place, while in 2018, I had taken my first and only pole position in MotoGP in qualifying. So I'm happy to be back here in Argentina.”

It’s clear that Jack is keen to do well in South America then: "The start of this season has been a bit of a struggle, even though we had the potential to aim for the podium in the first two rounds. Let's hope to have a more linear weekend here in Argentina”.
