The Spaniard has only one thing on his mind and that's training, as he works to make up for the time lost to diplopia
5 February draws ever closer, and Marc Marquez is focusing on just one thing as he aims to be as prepared as possible when the 2022 MotoGP tests get underway at Sepang, in Malaysia. It’s no easy feat, considering that he was forced to rest up from October to December to allow his eye injury to heal. But perhaps the Spaniard is now on the right track.
The eight-time champion has stuck religiously to doctors’ advice, wasting no time since they gave him the OK to resume training. Having been back on an MX bike and then ridden at both Portimão and Aragón, today he was out on four wheels. Yes, the Repsol Honda rider was at the wheel of a go-kart as he continues to work to make up for the recent long weeks of inactivity. Nothing will be left to chance when it comes to his intense preparation ahead of the first test, when he’ll finally be able to embrace his new RC213V and, inevitably, start aiming for that title.
