Ad Atlanta, ottava prova del Supercross americano, James Stewart è tornato al Successo. Dopo aver ottenuto come miglior risultato quest’anno due quarti posti, il pilota Suzuki questa volta ha nettamente dominato. Primo nelle prove e nella heat di qualifica, in gara ha centrato subito la holeshot ed è rimasto davanti dal primo all’ultimo giro. Ha preceduto al traguardo il campione in carica Ryan Villopoto, che ora è secondo in campionato con un distacco di 22 lunghezze da Davi Millsaps, terzo al traguardo di altlanta.
