Riders, teams, and staff are preparing to travel to Australia, where a new Superbike season will get underway next week. But just before the action begins, Dorna has announced some interesting details relating to round 7, taking place on 9-11 August at the Autodromo Internacional do Algarve in Portugal. Already a beautiful setting in itself, the circuit will benefit from an additional natural wonder this season.
The show is at Portimao with SBK and a summer party
To make the event even more exciting, the Superbike race schedule has been revised, with Race 1 and Race set to get underway at 7pm local time, just as the sun is setting.
In addition, the circuit is organising a "Summer Party", for guaranteed entertainment even after the bikes have finished up on track. The event will involve food stands, concerts, autograph sessions, parade laps of the track and a unique tour of the track on an open-top bus.
Essentially, all the ingredients for un unforgettable round.
