WorldSSP, Krummenacher the favourite to stand in for Bernardi

While awaiting some reassuring news about Luca Bernardi, who was seriously injured at Magny-Cours and hospitalised having fractured his T12 vertebra, we pre-announce the possible arrival of Randy Krummenacher to the CM Racing team, the squad that supports the number 29 rider in the world championship.

While Luca needs treatment and rest – in the hope he can be back on the bike as soon as possible - the Yamaha R6 will, in the meantime, be entrusted to the 2019 champion, who won the title with Evan Bros. Randy would thus ‘leave’ EAB, the team for which he has competed as far as the French round.

If there are no surprises (and although we would like to see Bernardi able to return before the end of the season), it looks likely that the Krummenator will round out the season, with the Barcelona-Jerez-Portimáo triple-header just around the corner. And if the calendar remains as is, this will be followed up with rounds in Argentina and Indonesia.
