It seemed impossible, and yet it’s going to happen. After receiving the OK from the doctors to get back in the saddle and having completed an initial test at Aragón aboard a CBR 600, Marc Marquez has decided to take part in the tests at Misano.
Surprise participation
A surprising decision, if we consider the careful approach he was taking to his training and his right shoulder up until the Austrian GP, but one that must be acknowledged. It’s no mystery that Honda really wanted to see Marc at Misano, so as not to lose the way with the 2023 RCV213V.
The Spaniard will be on the Riviera already this evening, so that he is on hand to follow the work going on the Honda garage before heading out on track on Tuesday. It remains to be seen how he will do, but his attendance at the tests is already a surprise, as is - at this point - his possible participation in the next races.
