Jorge Navarro’s first outing with his new squad, Sito Pons' Flexbox HP40 team, has finished in the worst possible way. On the final day of Moto2 testing at Jerez, the Spaniard crashed, fracturing his left malleolus as a result.
An injury that will keep him away from his Kalex until at least the February test, when things will start to get serious ahead of the season-opener at Losail on 6 March. The Spaniard will fly to Barcelona tomorrow to speak with Doctor Mir’s team and see what can be done to reduce the fracture.
