MotoGP, towards normality: 20,000 people at the Aragón GP

Following on the from the good news regarding the return of spectators to the Red Bull Ring, it is now confirmed that the Aragón GP will also welcome 20,000 fans to its grandstands. On Wednesday 9 June, the Safety Board convened at MotorLand Aragón and approved the attendance of spectators at upcoming international events. The decision was taken following the development of a thorough protocol that considered the characteristics of the track and surrounding areas with a view to guaranteeing the health and safety of participants.

The first event that will see fans back in the grandstands at the Aragón track will be the WTCR World Touring Car Championship, which will take place alongside the Pure ETCR International Electric Touring Car Championship from 9 to 11 July. 6400 fans will be admitted.

The numbers will then go up for MotoGP, which will play out from 10 to 12 September. 20,000 tickets will go on sale in fact and, to ensure everything is kept under control, the situation regarding the pandemic will be re-evaluated one month prior to the event, in order to be able to modify the parameters accordingly. To ensure a truly celebratory event, as was the case prior to the coronavirus outbreak.
