Marc Marquez continues to make strides towards his MotoGP return. Having received the OK from his doctors, the Spaniard was out on track with a mini bike in recent days, as he works on his reflexes following last year’s Jerez injury.
Towards the first race of the year
Having flown to Qatar to receive the anti-Covid-19 vaccine supplied to Dorna by the local government, the Spaniard has returned to Europe to continue with his training.
Marc doesn’t want to overdo it but is gradually increasing his word load as he moves closer to the effort required of a MotoGP bike. To this end, the eight-time champion is out on track at Barcelona with the Honda RC213V-S, a road replica of the bike used in the world championship.
Marquez has already said that "I don’t rule out being at the first race”. And if he continues at this rate, it looks increasingly likely that we’ll see him at the season-opener.
